                                    Vallarai chutney


For grind

       Vallarai keerai                              30 no

       Grated coconut                            ¼ cup

       Black pepper                                1 tsp

       Tomato                                         1 small piece from ½ tomato

       Required salt

For seasoning

      Sesame oil                                 1 tbsp

      Mustard seeds                           ½ tsp

      Urad dal                                     ½ tsp

      Red chillies                                2 no

     Curry leaves                              1 sprig


  1. First the grind the given items with enough water.
  2. Heat a small pan with oil,once oil heats add seasoning items. Once seeds are popped add red chilies and curry leaves. Switch off the flame. Add seasoning to chutney.

                                      Serve it with Idly or dosa.
