Sweet corn ¾ cup
Sliced onion 1 cup
Gram flour ½ cup + 1 tbsp
Maida 1 tbsp
Rice flour 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Asafoetida ¼ tsp
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Oil for deep fry
- First grind coarsely sweet corn without water.
- Add ground corn and all the other items except oil to sliced onion.
- Mix it well.
- Heat a kadai with oil. Once oil heats take 1 tbsp of oil and mix it to the onion mix.
- Once oil heats well, spread the onion carefully. Fry until the pakoda turns golden brown. Drain it on paper towels.
Serve it with evening coffee or tea.
