Corn Pakoda

                                            Corn pakoda



                                Sweet corn                    ¾ cup

                                Sliced onion                  1 cup

                                Gram flour                     ½ cup + 1 tbsp

                                Maida                            1 tbsp

                                Rice flour                       1 tbsp

                                Chili powder                   1 tbsp

                                Asafoetida                      ¼ tsp

                                Curry leaves                   1 sprig

                                Required salt

                                Oil for deep fry



  1. First grind coarsely sweet corn without water.
  2. Add ground corn and all the other items except oil to sliced onion. 
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Heat a kadai with oil. Once oil heats take 1 tbsp of oil and mix it to the onion mix.
  5. Once oil heats well, spread the onion carefully. Fry until the pakoda turns golden brown. Drain it on paper towels.                                                        

                          Serve it with evening coffee or tea.
