Soya chunks pulao
Ingredients serving size 2
Basmati rice 1 cup
Soya chunks 1/2 cup
Green chili 2 no
Big onion 1 sliced
For grind
Ginger chopped 1 tsp
Garlic 2 no
Tomato 1 small one
Mint leaves 1 hand full
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
For seasoning
Oil 1 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Whole garam masala 1 no each
Method
- First grind the given items in a fine paste. keep it aside. soak basmati rice for 30 min. soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 min. then squeeze it well. keep it aside.
- Heat a cooker with oil. once oil heats add seasoning items. Then add sliced onion and green chili. Saute well. Then add ground paste and soya chunks. saute well.
- Then add 1 1/4 cup of water. then add washed rice and salt. mix it well. pressure cook for 1 whistle in high flame and 5 min for low flame.
Serve it with any kuruma.
