Big onion    sliced                            2 no

Tomato chopped                               1 no

Capsicum chopped                           1 no

Carrot    chopped                              1 no

Beans    chopped                               1 no

Green peas boiled                             1/4 cup

Potato boiled                                      1 no

Green chili sliced                               4 no

Turmeric powder                              1/4 tsp

Required salt

Coriander & Mint leaves for garnish

For grind

Roasted gram dal                               4 tbsp (pottu kadalai)

Fennel seeds                                       1 tsp

Cinnamon                                           1 small piece

For seasoning

Oil                                                      2 tbsp

Fennel seeds                                    1 tsp

Cinnamon                                        1 small piece

Curry leaves                                    1 sprig


  1. First grind the given items in a fine powder. In a mixing bowl add this powder and 1/4 cup water. Mix it well without any lumps. keep it aside.
  2. Heat a kadai with oil, once oil heats add fennel seeds and cinnamon. Then add        curry leaves.
  3. Then add sliced onion and green chilies. saute well.
  4. Then add all the veggies except potato. saute well.
  5. Then add turmeric powder and salt. Mix it well.
  6. Add 1 cup water. let it boil. once all the veggies are cooked well, then add ground paste and 1 cup of water. mix it well.  cook for 1 min,then add mashed potato and mix it well. switch off the flame.

Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
Serve it with poori or chappathi.
