                                               Ulundhu kanji(urad dal)


                      Urad dal                    ¼ cup

                      Rice                            1 cup

                      Cumin seeds             1 tsp

                      Fenugreek seeds      1 tsp

                      Small onion              6 to 7 no

                      Garlic                         4 to 5 no

                      Required salt


    1. First wash rice and urad dal. Add all the ingredients to pressure cooker. Then add 5 cups of water and salt. Pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
  1. After pressure release open the cooker and mash it. Add enough hot water for kanji consistency.

                              Serve it with any pickle or chutney.
