Multigrain powder (sathu maavu)
Ingredients
Finger millet(raagi) 2 cup
Whole wheat 1 cup
Red rice ¾ cup
Ground nut ¾ cup
Corn ¾ cup
varagu(kodo millet) ½ cup
Thinai (foxtail millet) ½ cup
Samai (little millet) ½ cup
Kuthirai vali(banyard millet) ½ cup
Kambu (pearl millet) ½ cup
Sorgam (cholam) ½ cup
Green moong dal ½ cup
Roasted gram dal ½ cup
Almond 15 no
Cashew 15 no
Cardamom 6 no
Dry ginger 1 small piece or 1 tsp powder
Method

- Dry roast the ingredients one by one except roasted gram dal and dry ginger.

- Roast the items till nice aroma comes, don’t roast it brown.

- Once everything is roasted, Mix all the ingredients. Cool down to room temperature and grind it to the mixer or flour mill.

- If you grind the items in mixer, sieve it well and then store it in an airtight container.
- If you grind the items in flour mill, spread the flour to cool down then store it in an airtight container.
