         Small onion                      8 no

         Red chili                           3 no

         Tomato                             1 no

         Tamarind                         small gooseberry size

         Curry leaves                   1 sprig

         Garlic                               2 no

         Required salt

For seasoning

         Oil                                   2 tbsp

         Mustard seeds              1 tsp

         Urad dal                         ½ tsp

         Curry leaves                 1 sprig


    • Grind all the items in a fine paste. Heat a pan with oil.
  • Once oil heats, add mustard seeds. Once seeds are popped add urad dal and curry leaves. Then add ground chutney and salt. Saute well. Once oil oozes out from chutney, switch off the flame.

                             Serve it with Idli or Dosa.
