Sweet Corn Pulao


                                    Sweet corn pulao


        Sweet corn                                    ¾ cup fresh or frozen

        Basmati rice                                  2 cup

        Kasturi methi leaves                   1 tbsp

        Green chili                                     3 no

        Oil                                                    1 tsp

        Ghee                                                2 tsp

        Shahi jeera                                    1 tsp

        Cinnamon                                      2 small piece

        Cardamom                                    2 no

        Bay leaf                                          1 no

        Clove                                               2 no

Required salt

For grind

        Ginger chopped                                1 tbsp

        Garlic chopped                                 1 tbsp

        Mint, coriander leaves chopped    ¼ cup


    1. First soak basmati rice for 30 min.
    1. Grind the given items in a fine paste, keep it aside.
    1. Heat a pressure cooker with oil & ghee. Once oil heats add shahi jeera and whole garam masala. Saute well. Then add ground paste.
  1. Saute well. Then add sweet corn, green chili and methi leaves. Mix it well. Add 2 ½ cups of water, rice and salt. Mix it well. Pressure cook for 1 whistle in medium flame.  


                  Serve it with any veg gravy.
