Sambar powder


Coriander seeds                              ½ cup

Red chili                                            15

Gram dal                                           1 tbsp

Urad dal                                            1 tbsp

Pepper                                               1 tsp

Cumin seeds                                     1 tsp

Fenugreek seeds                              ½ tsp

Curry leaves                                      2 strings

Hing                                                   ½ tsp


  1. Dry roast everything separately. Cool them in a plate. Let it cool down to room temperature.
  2. Grind it to a fine powder.

Store it an airtight container.
