Mango rice
Ingredients
Shredded mango ¾ cup
Shredded coconut ½ cup
Peanut 1 tbsp
Gram dal 1 tbsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 strand
Mustard leaves 1 tsp
Coconut oil 1 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Green chili 4 no
Cooked rice 2 cups
Required salt
Method
- Heat a kadai with coconut oil.
- Add mustard seeds, gram dal, urad dal, peanut and curry leaves.
- Fry till the dals are golden brown.
- Add green chili and shredded mango. Saute for a while.
- Add shredded coconut. Saute till the coconut turns slightly brown.
- Add cooked rice and salt. Add ghee. Mix it well.
Serve it with Papad.
