Badam red chili chutney


Badam (Almond)                                                                  20 nos

Rosted gram dal (pottu kadalai)                                       3 tbsp

Red chili                                                                                3 or 4

Garlic                                                                                     1small piece

Curry leaves                                                                         1 strand

For seasoning

Oil                                                                                        1 tbsp

Mustard seeds                                                                   1 tsp

Curry leaves                                                                       1 strand

Required salt



First soak the badam for 30 min.In a mixie jar add all the ingredients. Grind a smooth paste with adding enough water. Heat a pan add 1 tbsp oil. Add mustard seeds  once mustard seeds popped add curry leaves.switch off the flame. Add the seasoning to the chutney.

Serve  it with Idli or Dosa.
